		<title>Lurking on Twitter can be very entertaining</title>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Last night being a Twitter lurker made me laugh out loud. I follow a few celebrities, including the obligatory <a title="Stephen Fry's Twitter page" href="http://twitter.com/stephenfry">Stephen Fry</a> and his fellow QI star <a title="Alan Davies' Twitter page" href="http://twitter.com/alandavies1">Alan Davies</a>. There are a few musos I follow too, but it&#8217;s hard to find genuine people who really post and not just a marketing team. <a title="Jem Godrey's Twitter page" href="http://www.twitter.com/tweetermass">Jem Godrey</a> of <a title="The Official Frost* website" href="http://www.frostmusic.net/">Frost*</a> fame is just the sort person to follow.</p>
<p>Anyway, let me set the scene&#8230; there were two big sports stories in the news yesterday. Firstly England were actually doing very well in the second Test in the current Ashes series. Amazing. Secondly Tiger Woods didn&#8217;t make the cut in the British Open tournament at <a href="http://www.turnberry.co.uk/">Turnberry</a> in Scotland.</p>
<p>Late in the evening Alan Davies Tweeted the following&#8230;</p>
